PETERSSON NAMED BADEN OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR THE EAST COAST CONFERENCE

University of Bridgeport junior midfielder Therese Petersson (Lulea, Sweden) was named as the East Coast Conference (ECC) Baden Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.
Petersson posted eight points on the week, as she had three goals and two assists leading UB to a 1-1 record. She scored tow goals, including the game-winning tally, and added an assist in Bridgeport’s 3-2 victory over Lock Haven. In the Purple Knights’ home opener against # West Chester, Therese scored the team’s first goal and assisted on the other. She is currently ties for the team lead in overall points with 10.
UB (2-4) will be back inaction Wednesday, Sept. 13, when they travel to Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pa.
