Baden Sports Named Official Basketball of the
American Basketball Association (ABA)

The iconic red, white and blue ball is back, and it's coming to more than 100 ABA teams nationwide.

Baden Sports is now the Official Basketball of the American Basketball Association (ABA). Starting this season, Baden will supply the official ABA game ball to teams across the country and work with teams league-wide on uniforms and apparel.

What the partnership includes

  • The official ABA game ball, supplied to more than 100 teams nationwide
  • Close work with teams across the league on uniforms and apparel
  • A ball built on Baden's player-first approach to basketball technology

A partnership that goes beyond the ball

"We're proud to be the Official Basketball of the ABA. Joe Newman and his team are building on the rich legacy of the ABA, and we're excited to help bring the next generation of the iconic red, white and blue ABA basketball to life. We look forward to putting it in the hands of teams across the league and building a partnership that goes well beyond the ball."

— Jake Licht, CEO, Baden Sports

Licht thanked Damon Cannon, ABA President, and Tony Priscaro, CEO of PK Velocity, for helping bring the partnership together.

Built for the player

For decades, every Baden basketball has started with one question: how do we make the game better for the player? That same question shaped the ball Baden developed for the ABA and its teams this season.
