A ball that feels as good as it looks. Took it indoors a few times and it bounces pretty well on hardwood and is pretty forgiving on the rim. Only downside is it seems to not hold air. Have had to pump it a few times already whereas I haven't had to pump my wilson evo and I've had it for a few years now. Nonetheless, I would buy another one and other models from Baden in the future.

Soft, but grippy feel, nice bounce, not heavy. Better than the heavier Nike Elite youth ball I bought previously and we were happy with it. Great choice!

Baden produces some of the best basketballs on the market. You can't go wrong - the quality is there for a strong price = value. My boys and I play with several Baden basketballs. Highly recommend! Will definitely remain loyal to Baden.

Great Outdoor Ball
This ball has a great feel and grip for outdoor use. My son needed a ball to practice with outside but always seemed to find cheap rubber or slippery plastic feel balls with little to no grip. This ball feels and performs like an indoor ball on the hard surface of our outdoor court.

Since we practice a lot outdoors, I didn't want to wear out my "Element" and "Elite". The "Contender" is a great outdoor ball with a great price. I got the Red and White one because it was on sale and wondered how the team would like it. When I asked various players, they said the color didn't matter to them, in fact they said it makes it easier to distinguish, so as not to use the "Elite" or "Element" outside.
