OFFICE ASSISTANT

Baden is looking for the perfect person to interact with our customers and to help keep our office organized and running smoothly.  This person loves engaging with people and helping them to have the best possible experience with Baden products.  This role will also interact with employees and suppliers to ensure that our office is running optimally.  This person is a great communicator, extremely organized, and embodies our “One Team Winning Together” philosophy in all that they do. This person has a college degree and is looking to join an exciting work environment!

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, vendors and suppliers who come to our building;
  • Answer incoming phone calls, oversee main switchboard and screen incoming calls for executives as necessary;
  • Enter orders into Baden’s ERP system for assigned customers;
  • Perform additional customer service responsibilities such as inventory uploads, tracking, order resolution, etc;
  • Maintain supply cabinet and re-order office supplies as needed;
  • Re-order kitchen & janitorial supplies as needed;
  • Oversee all office copiers/printers, handle service calls, re-order supplies;
  • Work with mobile phone carrier to maintain Baden’s plan and add/remove users as necessary;
  • Maintain corporate travel website and ensure employee information is up-to-date.

  • Proficient in standard business computer applications (e.g. MS Office, CRM, ERP systems)
  • Must have strong creative thinking and analytical skills

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Baden is looking for the perfect person to lead our Human Resources department. Baden Sports is a quickly growing and evolving sporting goods company. The Human Resources Manager will be integral in helping us achieve that growth through collaborating with our team to recruit and hire top-tier talent that shares our passion, maintaining and maturing our human resources processes, and strengthening our team through development of training programs and support for employees across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of the recruiting program, and work with hiring managers on the hiring process.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee training and development programs.
  • Own, improve, and implement human resources best practices and policies.
  • Administer payroll process.
  • Manage all regulatory and compliance issues related to human resources.
  • Support management decision-making by providing pertinent information regarding potential areas of concern or risk.
  • Administer, analyze, and negotiate the benefits program while making sure that Baden’s program is competitive.
  • Coach, assist management, and manage corrective action and performance review processes.

SENIOR PRODUCT LINE MANAGER

Baden is looking for the perfect person to lead our product management discipline and team. This person loves sports and is obsessed with understanding the needs of Baden’s customers and converting that insight into market-leading products. This role will be empowered to drive product strategy and to establish product management best practices across the organization. This person is a great collaborator, team manager, and embodies our “One Team Winning Together” philosophy in all that they do. This person has experience in Product Line Management and comes with a clear vision for how to shape a product line; from development of new products to managing the business and customer success of products in the market. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own, develop, and execute product vision, strategy and roadmap for Baden’s multiple product lines
  • Manage entire product development lifecycle
  • Conduct market and industry research, field testing, and metrics analysis to inform decisions
  • Partner with Baden’s internal business leaders, sales, and marketing teams to understand business requirements and communicate product vision and priorities
  • Work with product developers, designers and manufacturing teams to build and deliver new products and improve existing products
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing on key brand building and go-to-market initiatives
  • Meet with Baden’s users – the athletes, coaches, parents, and anyone out playing, to ensure their needs are met and that products remain competitive
  • Build and manage a world-class team of Product Specialists, Product Managers, Product Designers and Quality Assurance Specialists
  • Collaborate well with executive leadership
  • Determine KPIs and drive results
  • Own Product Management Team’s annual budget planning and manage to budget throughout the year

ACCOUNTING CLERK

About this role:

Baden Sports is hiring an accounting clerk to assist in the daily operations of Baden Sports, and Axe Bat. Specifically, we need support for accounts receivable, finance operations, and general accounting support.

As our business transforms we are looking for someone that can grow with it. This person will work to support the increasing volumes that we have associated with online customers’ accounts receivable, and Amazon account growth. They will have a strong focus on the dispute and recovery of chargebacks from customers.

We are looking for an innovative problem solver, with excellent attention to detail. You will have a variety of responsibilities that will require you to be a team player that can quickly become technically proficient through on job experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable:
    • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
    • Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices
    • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
    • Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries
    • Reconcile and dispute chargebacks from customers, when justified
    • Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department
    • Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report
    • Reconcile and dispute chargebacks from customers, when justified
    • Gather supporting documentation as backup for AR lead
  • Finance Operations:
    • Reconcile and post batch credit card transactions from e-commerce customers
    • EDI customer setup and operations for major retail customers
    • Process improvement – Scaling data output with increasing loads of data input
  • Accounting Support:
    • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors
    • Research, track, and resolve accounting problems in ERP database
    • Record and post business transactions to the general ledger system
    • Calculate royalties and commissions

 Required Education and Experience:

  • Education – BA in business or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience working in corporate office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • ERP and/or database experience
